One's Trade

I just realized how beautiful it is to have the passion of one's trade in there everyday life. Wow, to be so fortunate as to actually get paid for what one enjoys to do.

In the beginning of the education and everything else that comes with it, it can be difficult. But if you love what you do, that's a wonderful gift in itself.

I found this lovely image, it took me back to when my mother first taught me to sew. A part of myself and of her is now always present in every project or job!

Painting- Fancois Bouche- La Sarta- 1746.

  1. Oh, my dear daughter, you brought tears to my eyes with your wonderful thoughts on that beautiful painting! About 2am this very morning I was blogging about remembering my mother making quilts and how needlework has always been in our family! I guess our thoughts are on the same track, even now! You truly are the greatest daughter a mother could have!
